Our Trip to Post Falls, January, 2011

We arrive in Post Falls on Thursday, January 27.

We stay at Templins where they upgrade us
to a room overlooking the lake.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.

We go immediately to the 

home of Patrick and Amanda...

where we meet Ava for the first time.

She is teething and a bit uncomfortable, but

she puts on a cheerful face for her grandparents.

The weather in Post Falls was ideal! This is the view

of Patrick and Amanda's backyard.

Ava got all dressed up for Sunday morning Mass.

Amanda loves to dress up her little baby girl!

Paul and Mary Temple met us for breakfast.

Mary and Paul host a party for us on Saturday night.

Here she holds her grand baby, Josie.

Tina loves to take care of the babies.

I'd like to say Tammy and David Perez 

are this excited to see us...

but truth is, we are holding Ava.

Cousins Pat and Pat discuss children and cameras.

Josephine feels comfortable 

in the arms of her mom, Debby.

Ann Marie provides entertainment 

by having Josie pull the hair of the men at the party.

Grandpa Paul holds out the longest!

Ava roots for Josie!

Tammy takes her turn to hold little Ava.

Pat Temple puts his camera to good use.

Ava's had enough partying.  

She's ready to go home.

Patrick joins his Dad for a discussion 

with Sarah Marie Fred.

Patrick and Sarah Marie both worked at

St. Michael's in London 

so they have much to talk about.

Sarah Marie teaches at St. Dominic's

and shares a home with Ann Marie.

Ava is glad to be home.

Pa takes over the "walk" detail.

Ava has failed to train Nana.  She still sits.

So Ava prefers Pa.

After a long trip back home to sunny Dallas, ...

oops...what happened to sunny Dallas?

Plano had ice and then about 8" of snow!

Perhaps we should winter in Post Falls!
