Kimberly and Luke at church in Sanger, Texas

The Nativity in Our Lady of Fatima Church in
Sanger, Texas, looked beautiful this year.
The cave surrounding the Holy Family
was made and donated last year by Jason Bang.
It provides the ideal backdrop giving the impression of a cold, dark cave.

Fr. Richard Boyle offers a weekday low Mass.

After Mass, Maria brings Luke to visit Baby Jesus.

Luke tries to grasp the significance of the birth.

Kimberly says her prayers before Baby Jesus.

She beckons the photographer to join her.

Nana explains how much Jesus loves Kimberly.

Luke wants to make sure that
Jesus loves him as much as Kimberly.

Kimberly goes on her weekly walk
and stops to visit the outdoor Nativity.

She won't go home until she visits the scene of the Crucifixion.

She names each statue. Passing by St. John,
she pats him on the head, saying, "Hi, John!"

She asks to be raised to kiss the feet of Jesus.

Not quite tall enough, but I'm sure Our Lord
appreciates her efforts to console Him.

"Poor Jesus!" and she kisses his face.

She joins the angels at the burial of Our Lord.

It's not a complete Sunday without Kimberly's visit to the statues.
When he gets a little older, Luke will join her.

  1. Hello, could you tell me how I could find Our Lady of Fatima? I looked on google maps, but cannot locate an actual building. Are there landmarks or something along the way? Thanks
