Exciting to see the frame for the sidewalk and driveway finally constructed. It required a massive concrete mixer that poured our neighbor's foundation at the same time. Alas, we realized the driveway was too short to maneuver easily when entering and exiting the garage. And, sigh...the earth mover ran over our beautiful sidewalk! We asked our builder to add an additional six feet and to repair the sidewalk. I am sure our builder would have appreciated us adding that six feet when the original drive was poured...but he didn't complain. It only took one day to accomplish both tasks! Tempting to put our initials in the wet concrete, but we resisted. Nice to see the A/C unit installed! The yard has been graded and debris removed. Broken sewer pipe repaired. Trees trimmed and fence posts installed!! Await sprinkler installation and fence completion. Gas hot water heater installed in garage. Look from the street. Electricity turned on! Won't be long!!! Henry is building muscle in preparation for carrying me over the threshold! |

So close! I can't wait to bring the kids by once you move in. And Kimberly is excited about "helping" you move. You might regret asking for her help. :)
