Ava Marie Grace Sestak is born!

Amanda and Patrick await the birth of their first born.  

Her due date is October 3, 2010.

They spent a lot of time and effort making her

room perfect for their little princess.

It was a labor of love!

 I had so much to do to prepare for my debut I lost track of time.  

So I was a little bit late.

But I made my grand entrance on October 14 at 11:35 P.M.,
 the feast of St. Callistus I, pope and martyr.
Yipes! I hope they don't name me Callistus!

Whew! They named me Ava Marie Grace.  
When you say it, it's almost like praying.

  I really like my name.

Sure is different here.  

But mama is so pretty, she smells good, 
she cuddles me, and the food's good. 

I think I'll stick around.

They say I'm really alert!  Of course! There is so much to see and do!

Oh, wow!  I love my daddy! 

I could get used to this!

Now I have to meet more family.  

Hope I can remember their names.

This one is easy!  She's my mama's mama.  

I'm trying hard to make a good first impression.

This is my great-aunt Mary.  

Hope she feels free to spoil me!

Mama won't let go of me for too long...  

...but daddy is always eager to give her a break.

I heard someone say I'm a "daddy's girl."

Burr...I think I need to be swaddled!  After all, we're not in Texas!

That's better.  

So let's see...

I love my mama, my daddy, my relatives, my name, my room!

Yep...I lucked out.
