Vacation Trips this Spring...Post Falls in May, 2012

Ruth and Henry arrived with presents for Ava and Peyton to open.

Of course, there is always a puppet!

Ave receives an unbreakable rosary from Nana and Pa...along with a doll.

Amanda provided delicious meals and took the care
of two children under two in stride.
Peyton was adorable!

Peyton is content to get to know his Pa, whom he hadn't met.

Ava and Peyton are so close in age, and close in friendship.

Ruth and Henry visited Debby and Patrick Temple's new home.

Debby and James provided the tour.

Ava plays with James and Josephine.

Peyton is frustrated that he can't join in.

Ruth is so happy to see Debby and her children.

One of the projects the men tackled was to
build the biggest swing set in all of Idaho in Patrick's backyard!
Couldn't be done without the help of
Paul and his incredible tool shop.

The swing will last probably a hundred years!

Careful calculations and a nuclear scientist made all the difference.

Mary and Paul hosted an evening at their lovely home.

One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to Priest's Lake
where we stayed in a lovely cabin.

Ava quickly learns how to make sand castles.

One of Ruth's favorite past times...holding her grandbabies as she
watched the men try to fish!

Henry took to the great outdoors like a natural!
Ruth was on the lookout for bear.

On the last day, Mary and Paul joined us.

Paul made a big fire in the fireplace, perfect for toasting marshmallows.

Paul enjoyed taking pictures of the breathtaking scenery.

Ava seemed to take naturally to the new environment.

 Lots of fishing and photography.

Mary and Ruth loved spending time together.
It was sad to end the trip.

The men studied the map to determine the
fastest route back to Post Falls.
During the trip back, we had a close
encounter with an elk who decided to
cross the road in front of our fast
moving car.

Patrick and Amanda stayed an extra day.
